We take CBT’s very seriously. Your safety and the safety of other road users is paramount to us. If at any stage our instructors consider it would be unsafe for you to continue with training they will terminate the course. Likewise, if you feel unwell or unable to complete the days training for any reason you must inform your instructor immediately. In any event, the decision to terminate a CBT rests entirely with your instructor. In all cases, the instructor’s decision is final.

Termination during/after Elements A to C.

These are the off road elements done in the morning on the training pad. Primarily your instructor will be assessing your basic machine control. If these elements are not completed satisfactorily and you have not convinced your instructor that you are safe to go out on the road for elements D to E, your tuition will be terminated for the day. In this instance you will be offered the chance to come back at a mutually convenient date to start your CBT again. This will be offered FREE OF CHARGE, once only.

Termination during/after Elements D to E.

These are the on road elements. If you fail to satisfactorily complete this section of the training, you will have had a full days training. In this instance you may only need another ½ days training to complete the course in which case we will be happy to re book you for just a half day, at the applicable rate, at a mutually convenient date. If another full day is required, the full CBT rate applies.
