We at Streetbike want you to enjoy the whole experience of motorcycling and for you to ride safely. Therefore, in house, we have a team of highly skilled, committed, Cardington assessed motorcycle training instructors. Our instructors are DAS qualified and are used to training people who are nervous, frightened, etc. just like you could be.
Don't worry, motorcycling is fun and the Streetwise team are committed to getting you on the road quickly and safely. We also renew our fleet of training machines regularly so you will always be riding a new bike.

Have you done your theory test ?
Before you can do a Direct Access course at Streetwise Training, you must first pass your Theory test. You can book this online by clicking here or you can call the central booking number on 0300 200 1122. It currently costs £30.50. |

Training Available
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
Normally a 1 day course of theory and practical learning aimed at getting you safely on 2 wheels.
£140 (incl bike hire). Save £40 if you have your own bike
Motorcycle Lessons
3 hour motorcycle lessons to improve your new riding skills and prepare you for your motorcycle test.
£80 per lesson
Restricted Access Training (Under 21's)
A 3 day training course on a 125cc machine preparing you for your 125cc tests.
£599 (inc bike hire and test fees)
Intensive Courses
Direct Access Training (D.A.S)
3 day DAS course (experienced riders only) £699
5 day DAS course (novice riders) £899
All courses are inclusive of bike hire and test fees however they do not include the CBT training.

Licence and the Law
Provisional Licence holders
16 years old (category P = Moped) Moped 50cc, geared or automatic.
17 years old and over (category A = Motorcycle) Motorcycle up to 125cc, geared or automatic.
MUST HAVE VALID CBT
Full Car Licence holders
17 to 70 years old (category P = moped) can ride up to 50cc (Grandfather rights apply if you have passed your test before Feb 2001) after this a valid CBT is required.
17 to 70 years old (category A = motorcycle) can ride up to 125cc
MUST HAVE VALID CBT
Full test only requirements
16 years old - 50cc only
17 to 21 years old - 125cc only
21 years old and over are eligible to take direct access (using a bike over 47 BHP ie a 500cc)
YOU MUST HAVE CBT PASS CERTIFICATE AND PASS A THEORY TEST BEFORE THE PRACTICAL TEST

A new initiative established by Suzuki GB, to help non licence holders get a full motorcycle licence in an easy and safe manner.
Aside from offering customers a simple solution to obtaining a motorcycle licence, Streetbike are also able to offer successful participants fully comprehensive Insurance on selected brand-new Suzuki models for just £99.
If you pass the Direct Access motorcycle test by the 31st December 2009 at Streetbike and purchase a brand new Bandit 650, SV650, V-Strom 650, GSR600, GSX650F, M800 Intruder or the new 650 Gladius within 90 days of passing, you will be entitled to £99 fully comprehensive insurance.
