...our Dainese Store

We've been trying to get Dainese for you guys for years - 2012 was the year we succeeded...

Dainese Italy Showroom

…and we were stoked !! Now we needed to create the impact of Dainese’s Master Showroom here at Streetbike. As you can see we like a challenge…

It started with a trip to Italy to look at Dainese’s Factories & Mega Showroom…

Trip001[1]
Whilst the rest of us were starting to shiver as winter 2011 approached Gary, Bob & Leanne flew off to sunny Italy to immerse themselves in all things Dainese and, more importantly, sign the deal that would finally allow us to sell Dainese to you guys. They were just blown away ! We all know Dainese are good, what we didn’t know was that this pursuit of excellence extends to all aspects of the vast Dainese operation…
Every element from the cast concrete logo set into the wall on the approach to the immense Vicenza Distribution Centre to the stunning reception area – even the door handles have Dainese’s signature design flair. And what an operation, a vast showroom with every product they produce on display, the simply awesome stock picking robots feeding the huge loading bays.

Some would have been intimidated – us – what a challenge let’s ‘ave it !!!

Trip002[1]

We knew we had to do something really special, something that reflected the level of quality that we’d experienced in Italy, something that would raise the bar for motorcycle clothing stores. We needed “wow factor” by the bucket load so…

We held a “Design Competition”…

..and the winner was Alan from YY Design in London. This is what we wanted Wow Factor and lots of it plus a very clever bit of layout that not only maximised the space but also the versatility so that we could keep it looking fresh and interesting for you guys.

Plan[1]

and as the centrepiece the boss designed a custom Dainese Bike…

Right time to do some Demolition…

Whilst you were doing your Xmas shopping Pip, Chris & Andy together with some of the other guys carefully removed or more often smashed to smithereens everything that was not needed for the new design until we were left with the blank canvas below…

Demolition[1]

…and some promotion

in the meantime we started to give you guys the hint that we were about to start selling Dainese – subtle eh!!

Construction Phase…

Finally the big day and Alan’s crack team of pro builders arrive for 18 long intense days of construction. As you can see they got straight at it…

Bang on schedule ( with the traditional all nighter the night before) we were ready to open the doors and let you guys see the results…
