What we say…

Take one look at this radical cruiser and you’ll see that it’s something very special. With a seriously raked out front end and big V-twin engine, the XVS1300 Custom comes with authentic chopper style that puts it in a class of its own. And whichever way you look at it, this bike has got some serious attitude.

XVS1300-Custom-FEATURE-01

Raked out front forks for the authentic ‘chopper’ look

The radically styled front end features an extreme 40 degree fork rake for an authentic chopper image that demands attention. Parked down town or cruising on the highway, few bikes have the presence of the XVS1300 Custom. This ultra cool package is completed with the pull back handlebars and large diameter front wheel.

Gutsy 1,304cc V-twin engine

At the heart of this authentic new cruiser there's a gutsy 1,304cc liquid cooled 60-degree SOHC V-twin engine that blends classic cruiser looks with modern technology. Featuring a single crankpin that delivers a mighty V-twin pulse, this fuel injected engine delivers huge low rpm torque for outstanding performance and easy-riding pleasure.

Stability with agility

The XVS1300 Custom’s clever chassis geometry has been designed to make this gutsy V-twin remarkably agile and easy to ride for a big bike. The raked out forks ensure good straight line stability, while the special design of the offset triple clamps - combined with the bike’s low centre of gravity - ensure agile handling at lower speeds.

Built to customise

In standard trim the XVS1300 Custom is one of the most desirable V-twin cruisers on the street. And if you want to take it to the next level, this is the ideal bike to customise. The steel front and rear fenders can be cut, modified and painted to suit your own style, and Yamaha also offer a range of accessories to help create your ultimate custom.

XVS1300-Custom-FEATURE-05

‘Air-cooled’ looks with liquid-cooled efficiency

The liquid-cooled V-twin engine blends authentic style with advanced technology like no other cruiser. The big ‘air-cooling style’ fins give a classic retro look, while hidden hoses and internal engine coolant passages deliver the increased performance and higher efficiency associated with liquid cooling.

XVS1300-Custom-FEATURE-06

21-inch front wheel and low seat

For authentic cruiser style with relaxed handling characteristics the XVS1300 Custom’s long and low chassis runs with a large diameter 21-inch front wheel that highlights the raked out front end. And at only 670mm high, the stepped dual seat allows the rider to get both feet on the ground when stationary for added comfort and confidence.

What Yamaha says…

Equipped with an ultra low seat and pull back handlebars, the long and low chassis is built for easy handling around town and great high speed stability – while the high-tech 1,304cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine packs a mighty punch that’s built to move you like nothing else.

And with its lightweight wheels and low profile tyres, the XVS1300 Custom is ready to roll.
